"Walt Disney was an upstanding citizen with high morals and a love of the nostalgic small-town America. He was outspoken about his faith and his republican views, his belief in free enterprise, and his desire to be a successful entrepreneur independent of big government influences." Herb Leibacher, "World of Walt.com" October 12, 2017
Mickey Mouse was originally named after Walt Disney's "pet," mouse "Mortimer." Standing up for people who others hate for what they are, has been good for Disney business, as well as the right thing to do.
