Checkmark Whining

Is a blue checkmark even worth that much?

I think it is given far more importance than it actually has, this whole thing is about ego.

What's the big attraction about Twitter anyway. I've never been on and I doubt I'm missing anything.

To be honest, other than trolling scumbag politicians, pundits and celebrities, not much. Of course I am just speaking for myself here. There were some positive changes when Elon bought Twitter, but it wasn't as much of the revolutionary 180 as many were hoping for.

It is the same elitist class that expects everything to be free to them - they are special after all.

Apparently $8 bucks is a bank breaker for them...

It not about the money, it about being subject to the same requirements as us mere mortals.
