Banning books isn't a solution, its a problem.

"Extreme" Violence (or other similar topics) in a book? Restrict it so the child needs to be a certain age to check it out.

Problem solved, without causing more issues.

X and R rated movies are not a universal ban. Age related content has been around a long time. No legitimate reason exists to have this content in schools.

Clearly you missed that i said *books* not *movies* and the books they are banning (mause, assassnation classroom, etc) are PG-13 level at best.

And you missed my point: maus is real history (and should not be banned)

And assassination classroom shouldn't be banned either.

The places these books are being banned from are middle schools, where the children are old enough to read them.

But i guess censorship doesn't matter to some people as long as its on an opposing political side or to "protect the children!"
