Democrat hypocrisy

More guns are good, Toejoe, but in the hands of law abiding citizens.

Please explain if you can, why the left thinks taking guns away from law abiding citizens, aka good people, will make bad people good?

If you want to understand those of us who are what the left calls "pro gun", you have to first understand that we believe, firmly, that the same govt that wants to take away our guns (i.e. take away our ability / right to protect ourselves) absolutely will not, cannot, protect us. Hell, they don't even seem interested in wanting to protect us.

So until the left rescinds or modifies the 2nd amendment, nobody is taking my firearms.

What a stupid comment, why they were built doesn't matter, what they are used for doesn't either. No argument against guns stands up when they same argument is used on other objects. The truth is simple, firearms are legal, and a right, no permission needed, end of story.

Why pass more gun control laws when the ones we already have aren't working and law enforcement ignores anyway?

The real question is why they want police defunded and us disarmed. It is almost like they are scared of something.

What is the most galling to me is what I always say about those who want to take firearms away from law abiding citizens, which is the same govt that wants to do that, absolutely cannot (or will not) protect you. They're either incapable of doing so, or unwilling.

Yet ironically, the same klowns that want to take my firearms are often protected by people who are armed with more than harsh language, if you know what I mean. Hypocrisy is the calling card of the left.

I think they understand that almost none of us will ever surrender our firearms, force against 150+million owners can never work, so demonizing the weapon and the owners is all they have left. It is the same trick they used to convince people to not point out that no amount of surgery makes a male into a female and trans men should not be in women's sports. Everyone on both sides of the issue know the truth but almost everyone is afraid to speak out. The reason it is not working with firearms is because we see the real need to own them.

The issue at hand isn't killing hogs or whether you were raised around firearms your entire life. But nice attempt at a deflection. I agree 100% with BurntFingerForge's reply.

Again Toejoe, if those on the left want to do what it's clear they want to do, which is make firearms illegal and confiscate them, then they have to go through the 2nd Amendment. Rescind it, revise it, but do something about it instead of just sitting around bitching about it. Work for it, libs.
