Probably just people in this day and age trying to stay relevant by attaching themselves to click bait and outrage media. Some of it might be sincere, but they could also be in a bubble that's out of touch with how things play out. You can be arguably correct on an issue, but out of touch with how it plays out on the ground level, and with other people.
Hollywood is going the way of the dinosaur. They're getting competition from the indie crowd and from the east-particularly Japan.
They're no longer an unchallenged monopoly on what we consume, and that means they're being starved of resources and attention. Not to mention, it opens them up to having the skeletons in their closet looked at. That's why they're working with big tech to silence both criticism and competition. Ever wonder why you can't find nearly as many conspiracy theory videos on youtube talking about the occult and illuminati in Hollywood?
Pizzagate may have took a wrong left turn at Albuquerque, but a lot of it's ingredients had some truth to them. Epstein partially validated Pizzagate, as did the original MeToo movement when it was going after the Harvey Weinstein's instead of focusing on the Louis C.K.'s.
The fact that Hollywood is so obsessed with invading Youtube and destroying people's careers, using censorship and algorithms to cancel indie but also snuff out fair use for parodies and reviews, and bury these things under algorithms that put their stuff up top? Yeah, it doesn't take a genius to see what's going on here.
Time to go to the new frontier-one free of the old world monopolies stuck in the past.
