Yooooo, I just went to see that movie the day after it's release. I saw a video on youtube that said "Everything Wrong with the Super Mario Bros. Movie" Like, dude...It just came out. Give it a chance, for God's sake.

honestly i'll listen to the critics about chris pratt's shit performance. there is no way he delivers any "let's-a go"s or whatever correctly. and getting less points because they don't get mario's voice actor to play mario is, i think, completely justified

hearing Mario speak normally with his voice would just be weird, he only really says "lets a' go" or "yah hoo" so I think that having his game voice actor would be strange. I think they should have gone with the route super mario bros super show took and just get someone with an Italian accent or at least trying to do one, chris pratt shouldnt have been mario

I understand your concern, but have you seen Charles Martinet's vines?? Or the times he was at those video game expos and was acting like Mario behind a screen?? Not only that, but he's an incredibly talented voice actor, he's not just Mario's voice actor. Charles Martinet should've been THE guy to pick, but. Nope, it had to be Chris Pratt.
At least we can agree he wasn't a good pick LMAO

Honestly, i was fine with mario voice change with chris pratt playing him because most video game movie characters never sound like the way they do in their games. It was weird at first but i quickly got use to chris pratt voice

Just got home from watching it in 3D and in a VIP seat it was great

The movie itself is awesome and packed with easter eggs to the games, but the story is kinda mid. I would recommend it though

Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed the movie. But not for the plot or the jokes or any of that. Unfortunately the only parts I actually enjoyed was the Score, the Animation, And All the little Easter Eggs throughout the movie. Just an okay movie in my opinion. But that's just my opinion.
