A lot of Italian food including pizza and pasta was invented by peasants but through all the centuries of living in poverty, the poor still had more dignity than to eat bugs. They didn't eat bugs back then in the hardest of times, they still aren't eating bugs today even when the elite try to force it on them. Italy is also moving forward to ban lab-grown meat.
