If you count the Warsaw Pact's collapse and China having to bail out North Korea as stomping the West, sure.
Even if they did, we didn't have to starve our populace to accomplish such victories.

No, you happily starved other countries and stole from them as well as continuing to destroy, deforest and wage war on peoples weaker than you.

Pardon my whataboutism, but the Chinese Communist Party did the same to its own people and the Soviet Union did it to nearly all of Eastern Europe. Even today, the CCP is exploiting Africa's natural wealth and resources through its Belt and Road initiative.
I will not deny that the US has committed, many, many atrocities in the past, such as the murder of Native Americans, bombing of civilians in Japan, and crimes against humanity at Abu Ghraib in Iraq. Nevertheless, communism is never the answer. It only leads to more genocide, more suffering, and more tyranny. The US at least has the decency to admit its crimes and punish those responsible (though I'd argue many should have been punished far more severely). The crimes of one side do not justify those of the other.

You do realise that none of those countries were communist? They said they were but in practice they weren't, just left-wing authoritarian states. You don't seem to understand what Communism actually is (*Hint - It isn't when government, communism is when no government)

Fair enough. Communism as defined by Marx is an impossible end goal that has never been reached.
By "communism" I usually mean the ideology of communism rather than the actual state of communism as defined by Marx. When I do refer to a system of government, I mean socialist government that operates with the goal of achieving Marx-defined communism or that proclaims itself as adhering to communist ideology.
