Parents who come up with outlandish punishments are idiots. Teenagers are in a crazy time for personal growth. Shaving their head could send them into an identity crisis and suicide. Most especially a girl.

Personally, i think that was a smart decision. She now knows how the girl with cancer feels and will probably stop bullying in the future.

An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind. One rude kid says something rotten to a cancer kid.. so the parent shaves her head, she commits suicide and the cancer kid dies too? Sure.. sounds legit. lol

the thing im annoyed about is thee fact you think she'll commit, AND HEAR ME OUT.
shes experiencing what the other girl is feeling, but even then, she doesnt have to go through chemo.
if she's going to commit because of low self asteem and bullying, so is the other girl.

Rudeness and insults don't garner the death penalty. It's entirely a false equivocation to shave a kids head in reality.. for words said to another kid. Good judgment is not determined solely by how everyone feels. That's called pathos based argumentation and it's subjective like this.. thus it's flawed. More ethos/logos based argumentation would ask what exactly was the wrong committed and what would be just punishment to fit the crime of being insulting? Also a consideration of any contrition she might have for insulting the cancer kid.. and a consideration towards learning her lesson. What will make a kid learn not to do it again.. at that age? make the kid apologize and take her to the cancer ward at the hospital one day.. to catch a glimpse of reality.
