Collector couldn't close the rift so he needs more time, he met up with candystripe and her group to obtain more kryblon (the stuff they used to stop enemies from coming through the rift)

Candystripe: I might know how we can get more kryblon, get in.

Candystripe and the collector climb into the candy crane, collector notices that the interior is different from a regular jet of it's kind

Collector: looks like you've made some modifications

Candystripe: I modded it for space travel. Hold on tight, this thing is really fast.

In a blink of an eye the candy crane left the planets atmosphere, and in a few seconds left the solar system. Collector looked out of the cockpit (why is it called that) and wondered if Astra was doing ok with inkmatas and Xander

Meanwhile Astra and inkmatas were flying above the battlefield looking for more monsters, Xander was wounded and Calamitas was taking care of him.

Astra: look at the rift!

Inkmatas looks over and notices the purple glow of the kryblon was fading, collector would need to hurry before it disappears completely

Collector and candystripe finally reached Afaeron, a planet with dangerous storms that rain kryblon

Candystripe: we're here! It's gonna be a rough landing.

Collector was confused for a moment but then saw the scale of the storms that raged on the planets surface

As they flew through the storm several bolts of lightning nearly hit the candy crane, they glowed a strange purple color.

They land near a cave, several alien looking machines are seen inside. A strange snake-like creature comes out with a blaster

???: Who goes there?

Collector: we come in peace, all we want is some kryblon

???: Well you're in luck, I'm throsk. I collect kryblon. How much do you need?

Candystripe: a gallon

Throsk: I'll get that for you, I hope you have the money.

Collector: oh no.

Candystripe: what?

Collector: I don't have any money.

Candystripe: so you're the embodiment of creation itself and you don't have money? Can't you just make some?

Collector: I could do that but I have limits.

Candystripe: I have an idea, I'll go get something.

She runs back to the candy crane while throsk comes out of the cave

Throsk: here's your kryblon. now where is my payment?

Collector: she's getting it from the jet.

Candystripe runs back holding a piece of paper

Throsk: what is that?

Candystripe: that, mio buon uomo, is a recipe for dirkalf candy canes. Translated by yours truly!

Throsk: dirkalfs!? Those pirates!?

Candystripe: well they were until gingerbread man became king.

Throsk: hmm... 8.5 on the hardness scale... I'll take it!

Candystripe hands him the paper and throsk gives her a sealed container of kryblon

Collector: this will be perfect, you may have just saved the multiverse

Throsk: come back any time.

Collector and candystripe climb back into the candy crane and fly full speed back to the rift

Meanwhile Astra and inkmatas were trying to block monsters from escaping the rift, the kryblon was almost completely gone and their last hope was a strong barrier of inkstone magic

But it was no use

Even with Astra AND inkmatas' magic combined the barrier began to crack, the only way they could stop them is if collector returns

Suddenly, a red and white jet enters the atmosphere, it was the candy crane

Collector jumped out holding the kryblon container, and in a flash of blue light a missile double the size of the previous one appeared, and it was launched into the rift

Inkmatas and Astra took down the barrier, letting the monster through... But it was too late for them. The missile was already on it's way, so it doesn't matter how many hundreds get through as long as none come out after that.

The missile went through the rift, and in a purple explosion the enemies were delayed again, giving the collector enough time to figure out another way to close the rift
