I don't think 'we' are willing to agree to that statement since many of us are old enough to have lived alongside people with differing points of view for decades..
right up until one side decided their brand new 'point of view' was to tell everybody what to do and how to live their lives and then scream, cry and shout obscenities if anyone questioned it.
One side became cry bullies and the other side wants them to eff off because of it.. thats the whole situation. *shrugs*
