Compared to economic justice (the single tax), every system is a variation of feudalism since they all involve the many paying the few for access to land. Only the single tax (taxing only land ownership) allows everyone equal access to everyone's daily source of life (land, location).
This is what the "laissez faire" economists were actually recommending to the aristocracy. Nobody in medieval times was advocating deregulation. They were saying to tax only landlords.
