Even if he was of Jewish descent (which itself is heavily debated), Marx undeniably had some degree of German ancestry as well, so he was at least partially white. But then again, judging people based on race and ethnicity is completely irrational anyway. Just because Hitler was German doesn’t make all Germans bad, just because Lenin was Russian doesn’t make Russians bad, just because Tojo was Japanese doesn’t make all Japanese people bad, etc.
