So we can't teach about slavery because supposedly it makes white kids hate themselves, but that also means we can't teach the civil war, or Lincoln, or any of the history of the Red states?

We were taught about slavery in grade school - an almost exclusively white school - and it made us think slavery was terrible, not ourselves. But magats are most easily led around by the nose if they're terrified of something they can't comprehend.

They're trying to rewrite history under the guise of protecting kids from self-loathing. It's ridiculous. Did any of these Congress people or governors ever hate themselves when they learned about all this in school? And now DeSanctimonius is claiming to have eliminated CRT in the state of Florida because he got the college to drop a couple of African American courses? I haven't seen such brainwashing since Nazi Germany. The GOP creates false emergencies then claims to eradicate them when they never existed to begin with, all to trigger their base. It's unfreakingbelievable.

The trump era really opened my eyes to what an unbelievably huge subset of America is mind-bogglingly stupid. How can you fall for this stuff?

Or what socialism is, or how the climate works, or what Jesus taught, or the bill of rights past the second amendment. Or anything about (real) history. Or…
