The fact that there are more REGISTERED guns in the country than there are people to legally use them... in my country there is 9 guns for every 100.

I've seen many videos of robbers going into stores and they end up wounded/killed by the bystanders or even by the clerk and it brings a smile to my face every time

They make it look as if they are taking away guns for others safety but its really just the ones running our world trying to make the people weak.

this isnt very funny, the customer is in prison due to the robber to no longer being a threat... he could have if he was aiming the gun at the cumstomer tho..

When you realise the robber was shot 9 times in the back by the customer without warning, the last being point blank stood over him when down and out on the floor, with the shooter fleeing the scene with other diners & only turning himself in when security footage shown.

The robbers gun was a toy. The robber was black, had a 4 month old son, had financial difficulties but got a job, a bad rap sheet though & served time.

If you don't want to get shot than maybe just don't rob people..?
1 up, 2y
Not all robbers or criminals are the super villain bad guys you see in the movies that want to be violent and threatening because it's who they are. Using a toy gun in this case might show he had no intention of harming, just threatening. Some feel they have genuine desperate reasons and no other way to solve them. Shooting them 9 times in the back in this case delivering your own justice on the spot rather than understanding and helping them or letting courts decide their fate might seem a little over reactive and disproportionate. Hindsight though and heat of the moment can cause us all to do irrational things. No winners.

from davej1710's comment : "The robbers gun was a toy"

yes, they didnt know that? regardless, even if the gun was a toy, you dont know wether it would be or not. if it looks real enough you will still put the money in a bag.
0 ups, 2y
I'm aware, they had no idea he wasn't a threat, just a desperate man that needed money for his family. The toy gun was convincing enough to make them think it was a real gun, therefore he was an immediate threat.

I'm just saying that he was never a threat to begin with. They just had no idea he wasn't a threat.
