The difference between capitalism and communism is that capitalism openly excuses exploitation and rewards those who can exploit the proletariat (the working class) are rewarded. If you are of the working class (proletariat) it is reasonably certain you don't have a safety net should the economy fail you. At least, in the economic sense.
Fortunately, we have Socialist systems in place like Social Security, Medicaid/care, etc to help us with that. Hearing people call USA a Capitalist country is only partially true. Their free market represents capitalism, but the programs their government has in place is conservatively Socialist. Right Wing often seeks to eliminate the Socialist programs to increase the revenue of the 1% which has the greater yield of income than the working class would receive (a thousand or two a year at min wage?) While the 1% receive billions.
Meanwhile, they're talking about Tax share vs tax burden. They hate the idea of tax burden because that means an equal percentage of the income to be equitable to the working class costs them more money. This is why some Republicans have called for a 30% universal sales tax to be the only tax to be collected by the US government. It would royally screw over everyone but the rich.
Further, with the free market, there's no cap or laws to prevent the 1% from arbitrarily declaring the prices for their products. If they have to endure a wage increase so that their workers have a living wage, they'll just up their prices to have the same percentage of income.
I'm not familiar with communism as a form of government or political party as that's not what Marx spoke of when I read his works after I heard how he was such an evil person for what he wrote. After going through a semester that was about his book "Das Kapital" vol. 1, I saw that people who are typically critical of him didn't really read his work at all. This, wasn't surprising as those same people claim to have read the Mueller report, but they actually didn't. Those that did, I found were repeating the same talking points as their Media told them to.
