Oh, that happens to me too. I feel your pain and can relate upon a spiritual level.
I've been getting somewhat better at dealing with stress and depression, though - I started reading some self-help books, in particular one about how to develop an optimistic built-for-success growth-mindset, and ever since I started applying what it taught me, I've been gradually feeling less depressed and actually more hopeful in life as a result. I openly recommend the book, you should consider reading it (I actually got a positive adrenaline boost from reading it, too).
