Plus China is economically dependent on the USA. Between Trump's noise abut trade and Biden motions towards bringing some manufacture back to our shores, last thing they'd want is to antagonize Daddy Big Money Bags. Increased trade with China would hardly make up for the loss, and they need us to grow much of their food as well.
