there is plenty of stress in a flying tin can 36000 ft in the air with up to roughly 200 or so people in it all the while hoping your ground crew didn't make a mistake in the balance of the plane and not to mention if the weather is stormy or foggy causing your visibility to go down and doing this REGULARLY so yeah... The job is stressful and they do lower the requirements (also heart medication exists)
