The tempo of the music you listen to tends to indicate your brain activity. People with slow brains naturally listen to slower music.

While true, there is an issue with taking already existing music and just speeding it up. People just grab a .mp3 of a song, plug it into audacity and drag the speed slider a bit. The new sped up variant gets more views and likes than the original. Anyone can do it, which takes all the talent and time out of music production. Producing music isn't supposed to be easy.
