I know people in the comments are joking about it being relatable, but this is ACTUALLY relatable to me. I know the feeling of lifting up a corpse that looks mostly intact on the surface, other than the eyes being eaten by some birds, only to flip it over and see Maggots covering the bottom of it. The skin will have numerous close-spaced round holes less than a centimeter wide where the maggots have been boring through it and eating the rancid flesh. Anyhow, the maggots will go back inside the corpse through these holes as soon as they see the light.
I know you're going to post this on the cursedcomments stream, and no you don't have to blur my username. I'm talking about animal corpses by the way, so I'm not lying and I'm also not a murderer.
