Biden Balloongate

Kind of related to that idea...... Considering we knew that they were spying on us, I wonder how difficult it would be to feed them believable bullsh*t.... I don't know what BS would be in our best interest to make them believe about us but idk... Maybe that's why we weren't too quick to shoot it down (?).. who knows.

Interesting thought, yolo. At a minimum we should be able to quickly develop a relatively simple technology to bring these balloons to the ground safely. That way wouldn't have to let them fly over the entire country, then shoot them down over water, then mount a costly and long salvage operation.

As long as they weren't armed... maybe we could just fly a more powerful balloon/ blimp/ relatively slow moving aircraft of some type of our own over to it, attach a cable or rope to it, and pull it down.

Gotta say though- shooting it down is more bad ass.

I was thinking something along the lines of a small projectile that would cause a slow leak, and then somehow control its direction during descent, maybe by attaching something to the top of the balloon with a gas (not gasoline, gas) thruster to push it in a desired direction. But yeah, an F-22 vs a spy balloon is definitely more bad ass!
