as a Christian, I can say that this post is MOSTLY false. I myself am a Christian and I do not care about sexuality. and that goes for many other Christians. hell, I myself am a bisexual and I still believe in God. and i am genuinely afraid now that just because HARDCORE Christians who think Gods love is 100% conditional are the ones crying about it, you think that's all Christians, when really it's not all of us. you can also accept God if you really try. his love for you is truly there, gay or not. and God will see this post here, and yes, any form of you showing that you don't love the lord will get him to bite back some way or another. in the end, there's more Christians who are not homophobic than there are who really do hate you guys. and I'm commenting here in the first place because when it comes to stuff like this, this religion in particular gets smacked down so hard when altogether; even though we are Christians, people like us do not like the homophobic ones. they might not realize it, but they are sinning a ton by this. one huge thing in the bible is pretty much to love everyone. and these people do not, making them not exactly smart. another thing to consider is that i have tons of CHRISTIAN LGBTQ people in my family. my sister, my sister-in-law, my uncle, maybe one of my cousins, maybe my little sister, maybe my brand-new niece, and most definitely me.
my point here: you shouldn't be treating the entire religion like trash because of what the minority of us are saying. just focus your backlash on the homophobic douche bags.
