Tbh I really don’t know exactly what I’m going to do. 3/4 of the interests I have (birding [ornithology], weather [meteorology], or photography) would likely require me to go to college, I’m fine with going to college if I know what I want to do, but I’m not going to go to college to just g o. I want a reason to go before I go and get 200k deep in debt and then I’m poor for the rest of my life.

Become a electrician, make the money needed for retirement and then go to school (not worrying about debt) and become whatever you want simple as that, dosent matter the pay if you can reitire

Yeah lol. I usually have all honors classes, but my math teacher last year was a bitch, plus I had broken my leg in the summer of 2021 so in the beginning of last year I had to be in a wheelchair. And don’t forget that this was middle school as well, 8th grade. So obviously people are going to be complete assholes towards me, which they were, and my math teacher didn’t really seem to give a f**k that I was in pain. I ended the first quarter with a 74 because she taught horribly. Meanwhile my Alg.2 teacher this year (Academic, (f**k you Mrs. Scanlon)) has taught the exact same stuff and I’ve picked up on like 95% of it in the first two weeks of the semester.

She was such an ass towards me and other kids, and she point treat people based on their grades. Basically the better you did in her class, the better she would treat you, the worse you did…well…you get the idea. Ever had a teacher like that? Lol, glad I never have to see her ever again.

Okay. First of all, i agree with you. F**k that shit. That entire school sucks.
Second, i have had a teacher like that (better grade = better treatment) at one point. It was Mrs Munoz (i hate that bitch) . I had get for Spanish 1 last year. She used to say we'd get to play games on Friday and on Friday we'd have 4 worksheets and a pop quiz FROM HER CLASS ONLY. I am doing a lot better in Spanish 2 (Mrs Garcia is awesome) and I'm going into Spanish 3 next year. I've been doing a lot better in public high school than in private k-8 school. Glad i don't have to deal with the teachers there again. For the most part the teachers were fine (except Mrs Munoz because screw her); it was their teaching style. My English teacher last year did not know how to teach us very well. And for a while she was out because she had a baby. Anyways, i left that school not knowing how tf to write a 5 paragraph essay. Thankfully my English 1 honors class taught me about the right way of doing it.

I had that same problem in middle school. I don't know what tf drove my teachers to that level of insanity, but my English teacher knocked me out COLD the moment she saw my face. (Her name was Ms. Ambra by the way.) By the time I woke up, school was over, and I was in the hospital with a broken nose. Thank GOD I never have to see that bitch again.
