So, you're probably wondering how I got here.

In my 100% form, broken, and staring at what could very well be my demise.

Well, for that we'll have to go back. A few months back actually.

I was getting readings of two entities with similar energy signatures to eggyhead, me, eggy, inkmatas, and redi went to fight them, but that didn't go so well.

We quickly figured out that they were from another timeline, the first, more intelligent of the two was edgyhead, the second, more savage of the two was starved eggyhead, both gained extreme power through different methods

I tried facing them head on but only managed to hit starved eggy with a few slashes from cold iron blades, he couldn't heal and bled to death shortly after

Edgyhead is what really gave me trouble, he managed to get a lot of good hits in, and even was able to knock me out. Luckily eggy ran him off.

Fast forward a few months, I had just beaten beldum and gave his head to redi so he could use it as a chandelier for a Christmas party, I would later realize that was a mistake.

I detected a strong energy reading from an unknown source, but there was an entity similar to eggyhead going toward it shortly before it happened, and I knew eggyhead was at the party so it couldn't have been him

I was busy and couldn't go investigate, but I knew edgy just got an upgrade.

Fast forward again, to today.

I was minding my own business, building a robot from some old blueprints I found, when suddenly I get an urgent call from redi, edgy came back to his world, if he couldn't kill them with the sun he'd do it with his fists

I call inkmatas and eggy and quickly tell them what's going on, then we go to stick world or whatever it's called and nobody's there...

Collector: there's no way he killed them all this quickly

Eggy: well maybe they're all hiding

Inkmatas: *staring in horror*

Collector: I know this is likely your first time seeing a planet like this but it could be FAR worse.

Redi is seen flying towards the group, seemingly running from something, then a red flame is seen following him

Collector: I'll help redi with that thing! You two look for survivors.

Collector flies off in the direction redi went, but finds him floating in the air lifelessly, he gets closer and redi fades away, right as he heard a familiar laugh behind him. He draws his blade without hesitation

Collector: you shouldn't be here... You already destroyed my planet, was that not enough?

Edgy: enough... Is never enough...

Collector: well, if it isn't enough you shouldn't have messed with the stickmen

Edgy: that's the fun part... the deaths you cause... The pain you inflict... The sorrow you bring...

While collector was talking to edgyhead, inkmatas and eggy were helping survivors get to somewhere safe, but redi still was nowhere to be seen

Inkmatas: why isn't redi helping his people? I know he cares a lot but with collector distracting edgy he should be here

Eggy: he's probably fighting edgy, he's very powerful so collector would need all the help he can get.

Inkmatas: so why aren't we helping?

Eggy: ... I didn't think about that...

Collector was getting tired of edgyhead hiding

Collector: how about you come out and fight me like an egg? Are you scared or something?

Edgy was still like eggy in a couple ways, one of which is that he hates being taunted

Edgy launches himself at the Collector out of nowhere, collector dodges and manages to hit him in the leg with the sword of creation

Edgy: ow! Guess you've gotten better since last time.

Collector: I've learned a few new tricks.

Collector summons clones of himself and surrounds edgy

Collectors: trollface may be a horrible person, but you can learn from him.

Edgy erupts in a ball of red flame, destroying all of the clones but the original collector remains

Collector: but one flaw is that they aren't as durable.

The flames fade and collector is left face to face with edgyhead

Edgy: I thought you wanted to fight like eggs.

Collector thrusts his sword toward the gem in edgy's chestplate, but it's blocked by red energy

Collector: well, you've got a point.

Inkmatas and eggyhead entered redi's temple, and what they found was horrifying

Redi was fused to the wall, still conscious, still trying to reach for his staff with his one free arm, but it remains just out of reach

Inkmatas was the only one who dared to go close to him and give him the staff, the moment she did glowing cracks began to form of the wall, and it broke open in a flash of light

Redi was free, still with bits of stone stuck to him but he was free

Redi: what did I miss?

He looks around in astonishment

Redi: what the fu-

Collector and edgyhead continued to battle in the sky, collector was surprised at how strong edgyhead had become, but he knew he likely wouldn't be able to handle his full power

The sky was engulfed in blue light, as the collector uses his full might

His new form looked different from last time, likely because he's learned how to use it more effectively

With one wave of his hand several crystals appeared behind him and began firing powerful lasers at edgyhead with pin point accuracy, all of them hit their target

Edgyhead teleported behind the collector, and in one punch several large cracks appeared on the collector's torso, but he wasn't done yet

His arm changed into a blade, he spun around then stabbed edgyhead in the arm, but he didn't even flinch, he even smiled as if he enjoyed the pain

Collector's form quickly became less... Humanoid.

It became a ring of light around edgyhead, firing beams of energy at him from all sides, none missed, but he still kept that erie grin

Collector entered a humanoid form again to assess the damage, but still nothing

Collector knew he couldn't take on edgy alone, he flew to redi's temple at full speed, hoping the others could help, but edgy was chasing close behind

Redi: all I remember is that I woke up, got out of bed, and suddenly I can't move, can't think, and can barley see. All I knew was that I needed my staff

Inkmatas: that sounds scary

Redi: well it's hard to be afraid when you can't comprehend fear.

Eggy: look!

They all turn to see a blue light in the distance, being chased by red flames

The group readied themselves for battle, the survivors hid in the temple's basement

Collector landed in front of them, damaged from battle

Collector: don't hold back, We can't give him the slightest chance to attack!

Edgy landed in front of the group, menacingly

Edgy: so, everyone's together for a final stand. How cute. But it will all end when I TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB

Collector: over my dead body.

Edgy: ok

He launches himself forward, going straight for the Collector's head, inkmatas stops him with a blast of inkstone flame

Inkmatas: over mine too.

Eggy begins to glow in golden yellow light

Eggy: me too.

Redi: welp, since everyone else is doing it.

The gem in his staff begins to glow

Edgy: this will be VERY fun.

Redi shoots a beam from his staff but edgy dodges, eggy rushes behind him and breaks a few pieces of armor off, but was quickly stopped and thrown through a few buildings

Inkmatas casts a spell and red chains emerge from a portal in the ground to hold edgy in place, giving the collector a chance to get several good hits, but he breaks free in a few seconds, then he hits the collector in the face, making more cracks

Collector grabs edgy, raises him into the air, and slams him into the ground, over and over, after 4 or 5 slams edgy manages to shoot a red beam from his chest, stunning the collector for a moment letting him escape, he goes for inkmatas next but she forms a shield around herself, it begins to crack as edgy hits it with all of his strength, collector manages to knock him off but a building collapses on top of inkmatas, due to her godlike durability she is merely unconscious

Redi and collector are the only ones still in the fight, redi summons several ships from his fleet and commands them to fire, they distract edgy but don't do much damage, collector hits him from behind making a hole in the back of his armor, he turns around and fires red energy at him, knocking him into some rubble

Redi tries to summon more ships but edgy knocks the two he already summoned on top of him, collector is the only one left, he is stuck with his back to a wall, and nothing left to do...

And now we're back here, did the regular narrator tell the story well? Anyway...

Wondering what happens next? Yeah, me too.

Edgy: any last words?

Collector: void will have some FUN with you.

Edgy: I've killed many of him, this one won't be any different.

Collector: well, guess this is the end.

Edgy laughs as he summons a dark hammer, the words "crystal crusher" are engraved in blue on the side, he lifts it and...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Suddenly, a fist glowing in Golden light went straight through edgyhead's chest, knocking the gem to the ground

Edgy: h-how

Eggy: weak spot, you spoiled egg.

Edgy fell to his knees, dropping the hammer

Collector: I guess this is the end for YOU

Edgy: huh... I guess it is...

He fell to the ground, the souls of everyone he's killed float into the sky as it reverts to it's regular color, as edgy's body begins to fade away

Collector goes back to his regular form, but not without consequence, every injury he sustained in his 100% form carried over to his regular form

He was dying

Collector: *cough* guess that's it. He's dead, and soon I'll be too. *Cough* I'm glad I was able to help, make sure the crystal goes to someone who *cough* deserves it... Maybe inkmatas...

Collector goes limp, and eggy silently decides today isn't the day collector dies. He prepares a spell he's known for a while, a resurrection spell, but the cost is the users death, a life for a life

He completed the spell, collector awoke, and all that was left was eggyhead's hat in front of him on the ground, he got up to search for the others, and while he wasn't looking, a small egg appears next to the hat, glowing with golden light. Guess it isn't the day he dies either

i was about to ask "why didn't the banisher help?"
and then i realized that would completely ruin the story if he just came in and killed edgy
we could just say that the banisher was trying to stop the shapeverse wars
