Gotta dig a lot of holes to bury those blades because they are not recyclable...

I know the stories the government tries to sell you...even though it's all for the money. And they're just like solar panels, in the landfills or dumped in poor nations.

Coal power plants do all those things too. Are you saying they're just as bad as each other? Because they're not, wind is not a fossil fuel.

Yes but they think that the sonar for finding locations for offshore windfarms may be responsible for whales not being able to hear and die.

Then why are you trying to kill wind power and not the sonar-based methods of surveying?

Because wind power is just as dangerous, and there's no recycling of them like solar panels (hazardous materials), so they both are put in landfills or dumped in poor nations. Does that sound environmentally friendly to you?

See, again, you're saying they're just as dangerous. Everything bad you're describing is something that fossil fuels do as well but wind doesn't burn a fuel. So how can they be equally as bad? If coal has everything bad that wind does, and wind doesn't have everything bad that coal does, then mathematically, wind is better. How can you conclude otherwise?

Ok you keep telling yourself that.

Do windmills use petroleum?
A small turbine for powering the home only requires a very small amount of oil, whereas the largest offshore wind turbines regularly need topping up with large amounts of oil and other lubricants to keep them running efficiently. Wind turbines operate across the globe, even in some of the harshest climates.

How much oil does a wind turbine use?
Right now the average wind farm is about 150 turbines. Each wind turbine needs 80 gallons of oil as lubricant and we're not talking about vegetable oil, this is a PAO synthetic oil based on crude... 12,000 gallons of it. That oil needs to be replaced once a year.

When coypasting quotes, it is customary to use quotation marks and to cite the source.

You don't know what lubricant is then. Sorry to hear it. I did mention the word "burn", didn't I?

Not worth arguing with you.

While the numbers killed by wind turbines is less than by the fossil fuel industry, that's hardly excusing it.

Simple measures like painting just 1 out the 4 blades black red reduces bird kills by 72%, especially predatory birds. Other colors, including UV reflective paints (which can be seen by birds and not humans) also help, as well as ultrasonic deterrents for bats, etc, can help reduce motalities. Not sure about insects though. But they're not as cute so people don't care.

Because leftover slag from shale and sand oil processing and radioactive sludge from coal is so very recyclable and another concern soon to be on a meme of yours? Maybe the waste can be used to rebuild the entire mountains being leveled for coal in West VA or to cover the garbage landfills in their valleys and whatnot, right?

Fossil fuel production and use creates actual hazardous materials (as in toxic hazardous materials, not simply leftover, as you referred to), as well as infrastructure and materials that are not recycled. Allowing a rusting no longer used offshore oil rig to become a reef is not exactly top-notch recycling.
