I like and respect both, although for Fortnite what makes people hate it is more the community than the game itself. Minecraft has a good community and it is a good game while Fortnite is a good game with a bad community.

I've played fortnite and I think the basic idea and theme of the game is good but the toxic fan base, disregard for the age rating and the devs never listening to the community kinda sucks
