Sooo, Trump-cult kids... First it was the Orange Menace illegally in possession of classified documents, then Biden and now Mike Pence... Unacceptable all around... but it still comes down to how the matter is handled upon discovery being the dividing line between criminality and excusable-ish error. Weird how Pence also went in good faith straight to NARA and is co-operating to get things back where they belong... One might even reasonably conclude that his retention of classified materials was unintentional and accidental; because he didn't spend months stonewalling the National Archives, lying that he didn't have any federal records, moving boxes of classified documents around after finding out there'd be agents conducting an inspection, submitting false affidavits, "negotiating" for repatriation of materials he insisted he didn't have. You know... the kinds of things criminals do when they're scrambling to weasel out of accountability.
