I've heard of that gun before

For anyone reading this comment that doesn't know, the desert eagle is an extremely expensive gun
(costing several thousand dollars used)
That fires bullets used in a gun that's able to take down aircraft, and is likely able to actually do it if I remember correctly. Probably hurts like hell to fire.

That's a good start, but not entirely accurate. A used Desert Eagle will set you back between $1,500 and $2,000. There are two variants of the gun, one chambered in .44 Magnum, and more famously, one chambered in .50 AE. I'm not entirely sure if the Desert Eagle will take down an aircraft, but it will disable most ground vehicles. And yes, they hurt like hell to fire.
