Larry, you're just falling for media lies, as sadly is often the case. Come on man, we both know you're smarter than that.
It's the media that labeled the Florida law the 'don't say gay' law. The word gay appears nowhere in the law. It's actually called the Florida Parental Rights in Education act. Yes, we all know the name can be pure BS, as evidenced by the Inflation Reduction Act, so all it takes is digging a bit deeper. Why you wouldn't do this, I don't know, since you seem to be someone who is concerned with facts and the truth.
"Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards."
"Before administering a student well-being questionnaire or health screening form to a student in kindergarten through grade 3, the school district must provide the questionnaire or health screening form to the parent and obtain the permission of the parent."
Wow, that's some pretty far right shit there, hey Larry? Do you really want your kindergartener to be taught about gender identity by their school? Especially without your consent?
I know I wouldn't.
You could read the entire bill yourself, if you wanted to.
