Velma is a very shitty woke version of Scooby-Doo but to me Scooby-Doo is shitty no matter what version of the show. Every episode is always the same, four douchebags and their dog go out to solve a monster mystery, the monster always turns out to be a guy in a suit and he would have gotten away with it if weren't for those meddling kids, it's a f**king retarded cartoon yet it is renowned as a "timeless classic".

I agree. As I recall the entire stupid concept came about when the political Left first went crazy over violence in cartoons. So suddenly all children's content had to be sanitized.

To be honest, I suspect that most of the 'fans' would have shrugged off the gratuitous race swapping and maybe even the gender orientation IF the plotting and characterization of the animated series had been any damn good. But apparently this damn thing stuck out in that category as well.
