Apparently the right cannot tell the difference between an aluminum can and a plastic bottle. But if you want to talk about Arizona Iced Tea bottles now, ok.....

The price of the Arizona bottles have been indirectly increasing for years.... ~6 years ago their $1 bottles shrank from 42oz to ~36oz.... Then a few years later it shrank again from ~36 to ~24oz (I'm assuming this is the size bottle yours is? ).. Now apparently they're raising the price of the already multiple times shrunken bottle.

The 99¢ can (unlike the bottle) still remains at 99¢ and as far as I know, has not shrunken multiple times.

^from roughly 6yrs ago.. they had them at dollar stores too. If you didn't blame the president for them shrinking at that time, I'm not sure you're being consistent.

I'm sorry but if you were buying Arizona tea in 20 oz bottles ~6 years ago for $1........ you were kinda getting ripped off. Maybe you live in NY or Hollywood or something where that is normal though (?) idk.

In my area you could easily find various 42oz bottles of Arizona Tea for $1.... as shown in my meme above your comment. At the time, I remember buying them pretty often because I thought it was a great deal compared to their 99¢ 24oz can.
