I am terraforming now

Get some of the fairground items (Purchasable from the Nook-Stop with miles), and create an amusement park. If you have any Festivale items, then they will also go well with the fairground items.

Ok so on my island i have a random spot on a beach that has a swinging bench and a music player thingy sitting underneath the shade of a coconut tree. i mean i cannot get past 2 stars in my island so pls help

what I would do is make a beachside party maybe? that might be cute, also weed your island and plant flowers

Maybe create a cafe, with a nice patio that you can eat at along with some lil gnomes and a flower garden and a fountain and maybe a bee farm?

consider making it "Venice." what I mean is make the entire island flat and then create LOTS of rivers. next, move the homes around so none are very close to resident services to make it look like all the shops are in the middle of the island. also, add a little market. or 3. or 4. I added 4 markets. place all the shops close to the middle of the island. and any place you don't have anything, (btw I suggest doing this close to the northern beach) add orchards, flower gardens and other stuff. If you want, you can also and some random waterfalls here and there. I love how my island turned out when I did this. It does take a lot of bells and time, but it's worth it!

good idea will use

It's a good idea if you have about like 100,000 bells and 120 hours lying around. for the markets, I recommend some "Storefronts" and "stalls." I think you can get both by DIY recipe. I know stalls are DIY. one more thing for roads and walkways, just use normal land and apply the dark wood path (I think that's what it's called, I can't remember)

I think that's a good start! 2 things though,

one: get a good music player if you don't already have one. they look nicer and play music at a higher quality than the cheap portable radio you start with.

two: consider putting the gyroids on a beach or a really big rock on the beach. that way you can have a beach party with your gyroids!!
