R.I.P.

From when music mattered. The music flowed, and we'd hang out an listen to albums together, talking about guitar solos, lyrics, album art, and whatever else. Fans felt like they were a part of it.

I hear you. My friends were like that too. We really tried to elevate cranking up classic rock albums while getting baked into an artform. (Sigh)- those were the days...

Just holding an album in your hands, looking at it, was an absorbing experience.

I was a tad too young to get toasted in them days, by the time I was, Disco had taken over and people changed overnight like some space invaders body takeover sci fi flick, and that was that, superficiality was in, waxing philosophic about words and harmonics and arpeggios was out. I just got more into Punk and New Wave, which translated into pretty much solo, especially when it was just Hard Core for me from 82...
