Until drug abuse is seen as a medical issue and not a legal issue, we don’t stand a chance.

Sheesh, even some of the friends I had in the 90s who've finally quit and got their lives back have passed away from the damage years later. These were REAL users, btw, hardcore, not some '420 friendly' Friday night toker listening to their Phish downloads.

You would be shocked at how many people I was close to who died from drugs.

I had moved to a slum neighborhood and met people while having a beer at the park. Of course, most of them imbibed that and more, so that's how that happened. Was far more and a lot more than I had known previously.
