Trump as Speaker would both Unite the Right and "Own the Libs." Hence, according to the political logic of our times: inevitable

This has been the plan for a long time. Make trump Speaker, then impeach (or remove via stochastic terrorism) Biden and Harris.

Point being that to the extent her constitutional duties do not require her to be physically present at the Senate, she should spend the rest of her time relaxing in a warm cozy bunker surrounded by a few layers of Secret Service agents.

That's why they want to take the magnetometers away. Once trump is Speaker, Biden and Harris can be assassinated by "Antifa" at the next SOTU.

Indeed. The number of steps Trump to be re-installed as POTUS undemocratically "but constitutionally" are frighteningly few.

Heck, with literally *any* Republican in charge of the House, I want Harris kept locked in a basement underground in a secure undisclosed location at all times and never, ever at Biden's side. Her demonstrated value as anything other than a second heartbeat is nil.

The only thing truly preventing something like this is Trump's own ego, viewing House Speaker as a demotion and a distraction from running for President. And, well, his own laziness, because House Speaker is a real job with real working hours that must be physically located in Washington, D.C. and has to report to the rest of Congress.

Naturally, if House Republicans are craven enough to actually elect Trump as Speaker, they could "flex" all those requirements.
