Indeed, and it's always "Great White Savior", they never can think of it as "White guy getting saved and enlightened by less advanced but much wiser people", which I think is supposed to be the real point of movies like this one.
Avatar 2 is, to no one's surprise, under fire for being a "great white savior" story; So what they saying is, despite undergoing a procedure to *fully* transition to something other than what he was born as, Jake is still what he was born as?
