How many times on this very site have people told you directly that "If there is no God/religion, what reason is there to stop from doing bad things?" You see how so-called religious people act, can you imagine what they would do without the spectre of an old man in the sky set to burn them forever should they do worse?

And the thing is, I don't think they even believe that. They say it because that's what they've been taught, but if they stopped believing in God I highly doubt they would just go out and start doing whatever they felt like, because that's not how most atheists act

If only humans abandoned their nature and became perfectly irrational rational beings.

That's why the churches want em young so as to indoctrinate before they achieve critical thinking skills.

And I frequently hear conservative Christians do that very thing. They accuse liberals of trying to indoctrinate young children, then turn around and say that they (conservative Christians) need to indoctrinate young children. It's sad how oblivious they are to their own hypocrisy

They know if they wait until critical thinking skills are attained their numbers will drop exponentially.

Same way with Republicans, they know if they make voting easy they most likely will never win another election.

The electoral college is the only thing that has given us Republican presidents in quite awhile now
