How many of these "Mar-A-Lago Martyr's of the Day", that you document, have been charged with the crime of insurrection?
Thanks, just curious.

I have no particular requirements as to specific crimes. To qualify for MALMOTD a person had to have made the decision to support Donald Trump's effort to overturn he legal election in a way that cost them time, money, their freedom or all of the above. All of them, with the exception of a few special cases have been arrested for crimes related to the 1-6-21 riot. For some of them, this will be the only special recognition they will get for their efforts. A side benefit I receive is that it pisses off members of the Trump cult. You are welcome.

Good for you.
The question was how many have been charged with the crime of insurrection? One might take it by your answer that the number is zero. Where is the Justice in that? The 1-6-21 one party committee (ALL appointed by one party's leader) has recommended to the DOJ, that then President Trump be prosecuted on four vague charges.
1. Obstruction
2. conspiracy to defraud
3. conspiracy to lie
4. inciting, assisting, or aid and comforting an insurrection.

So, the main premise in #4, is that the Bad Orange Man (of whom appears to live rent free in many peoples brains) led an insurrection carried out by his cult followers. If we all believe that, then name the people whom have been charged with the crime of insurrection, of which the committee asserts the Trumpster led?

If, as the committee unanimously assert, your President Trump led people to commit the crime of insurrection, then two years later, logically there would be several people already charged, tried, and convicted of that exact crime claimed. Otherwise, even if the DOJ is lame enough to charge only him, there is minimal hope of achieving a conviction. Disappointed, yes, emotionally involved, no. Dog and Pony Show. Effectively, a third failed impeachment. Such Political Soap Opera drama at the expense of the taxpayer. Meh.

It is understood that we have many people, most under the age of 40, whom will one day soon be much better leaders for our nation than the Power Greedy Clintons, the Bush family, Cheneys, Trump, Obama, and Biden. One can look forward to that future. I wish you continued success in your endeavors.

The President at the time of the riot did not invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807. In all the times in modern history that it has been used to put down riots, etc. not one person has been charged with the crime of insurrection. Nothing new about this one.

The difference between this and an impeachment is that one is clearly a political solution to a political problem. The other requires a Judge and Jury to be convinced that a law has been broken without regard of any consequence other than the enforcing of laws.
