No nation's covid restrictions were as totalitarian and oppressive as China

From the beginning they welded the doors shut on people's apartments and left them to starve. Everything requires cell phone ownership in China, for govt tracking and control- in the first 3 months of the pandemic there, over 3 million cellphone users disappeared. Can't find the stats for the next 24 months, China has suppressed the data.
