I never understood why sang about wanting Herbert Hoover back in the White House. Hoover created the great depression and FDR prolonged it for 10 years.

Calvin Coolidge was a vastly better president than Hoover. Well, Norman Lear was a flaming liberal so he had no idea what made a good conservative president. Coolidge was Reagan's inspiration.
