Ok so we are in a cold war with Russia (and a proxy war with them via Ukraine) and this American Marine was convicted in Russia of espionage and imprisoned there.

He has been back and forth from Russia many times and according to Russian and British media was caught with a USB drive with a list of the names of Russian officials/ "state secrets". He's barely done ~3 years of 16 year sentence.

You think Russia is going to give us that (alleged) spy as an option to trade when they have Griner...??
