That is actually a very interesting idea :)
As someone who draws a lot of birds I have a few suggestions:

Look up a few pictures of wing anatomy. This will help it look better if you are going for a more realistic wing look. If not that’s fine, this is just me being a science nerd lol

Also, if you want him to fly (scientifically accurate flying at least) the wings need to be a little bigger. For example the largest bird ever to fly weighed about 100 lbs and had a 23 foot wingspan.

This is just my personal opinion as someone who loves science and birds. I really like the drawing as it is right now. :D
