It's a beautiful state. I love the endless wilderness and ranchland. There isn't a single large skyscraper in the state and the only real large office buildings are in Billings (which we all make fun of anyhow). We're really good about maintaining a raw material economy without thrashing the environment.

The property taxes kinda suck though. :/

I do remember travelling through Montana on the way to Minnesota from Washington. What I loved was seeing storm clouds over the Rockies as they loomed MILES away while being surrounded by gold fields. The sun was on the horizon, but rain clouds were above us. It was truly an awe inspiring moment. But once the rockies were gone, I was bored out of my skull at how much the scenery didn't change.

Ah yes, that sums it up. The Rockies are God's country. Once you leave Billings though it's just West Dakota. The plains and badlands are pretty in their own way, and I like them more than the actual flatness of the midwest, but they don't compare to the mountains and forests at all. 🙌

Very nice! I have family in Utah. Haven't been to see them in years, but it's a very pretty state! I'd love to go skiing there. You were lucky! 😁

Different. I deleted my old account when I left because I never intended to come back. But then I realized I couldn't make memes, so I've had this one for a while. I just finally decided to cave and start talking again.
