Cowboy wisdom, Christmas is for everyone, share the joy

Having a basic knowledge of world history and acknowledging that Christmas traditions began as Pagan celebrations is not attacking your beliefs.

If you are actually proud of your traditions then you shouldn't be afraid to admit where they came from.

Christians are among the most persecuted groups on the planet, here in the states it is usually passive aggressive comments, mocking and rarely just blatant attacks but I am glad to know that your experience and mine are different.

I do find it hilarious that the same types of people that make the claims that Christians stole the tree idea from one place and the story of the flood from the story of Gilgamesh and others do not make the claim that Americans invented cars so other cultures shouldn't use them. Logic fallacies aside, the meme is not only true but a common occurrence.
