Progress could be measured if this kind of candidate couldn't get the nod in the primaries. Raise our standards. Raise education. Encourage intellectual honesty and critical thinking.

It's hard to imagine a worse candidate than Herschel Walker. I guess it's possible - maybe Roy Moore, who after multiple sexual misconduct allegations lost a Senate race to a Democrat in *Alabama* - but it's hard.

So, we've just found the floor for Republican support in Georgia. And it's 48.6%. Too damn high for comfort.
