As I said, there’s a far-right and a farther-right. Sometimes they play footsie. Other times they’re cat-fighting. Right now they’re sniping. But despite the current insult-trading, there’s still plenty of time to kiss and make up by next year. Or even by next week. Certainly by the time of the next election, I expect they will have found a way to blend back into the same fascist goop.

This is what we in the biz call a “blended ideology” — when otherwise disparate groups converge on a common goal. The classic recent example is Jan. 6. I don’t really care about the finer points of political distinction between the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers and the random MAGA moms who came along for the ride if they’re all banging on the windows of Congress and trying to Hang Mike Pence.

There hasn’t been any suggestion these characters have changed their underlying beliefs, and they are not very different to someone observing from the center or certainly from the left.

The MTG rebrand, if that is what this is, isn’t convincing. I think she came out and said she simply didn’t know what the Holocaust was. Well, good. Glad she’s learning. Hope there won’t be any more talk from her about blaming Jewish space lasers for starting wildfires. Still plenty of work to do.

It’s been amusing to watch how the Trump/Kanye/Fuentes dinner and its fallout have rearranged the deck chairs on the Titanic, but when you get down to it, they’re all in the same boat together and they’re all going the same place.

Goes to show that the far right have their own faction. Many are fascists, some are neo-nazi, and very few are actual nazis.

Holy moly. When I read about that interview (didn’t watch it), I assumed Kanye only said “I like Hitler” once or twice.

In other words you didn't give me a website that proves that Alex Jones is the "voice of reason more often" than what we think. Well, your statement cannot be verified and therefore is considered a false statement. Unless you do have a link you have found but refuse to show it because you think I'm a liberal and liberals judge all right leaning sources as bad.

I mean there are some good right leaning sources out there that are honest and all, but they aren't the most reliable sources (same with progressive news sources). The best sources to use are centrist and unbiased news sources like the Associated Press and Reuters.
