She has had to pay lawyers and other costs related to coming to court, etc. If she had stayed out of the Capitol Building property, she would have gone home on 1-6-21 a free woman. Thousands of people did just that. She put herself above the law. She basically just marched into an area that was posted "Off Limits," and into the building through a broken door. There are hundreds of cases like hers, where a slap on the wrist sentence like hers is probably the right thing to do. DOJ is trying to clear things up.
