Hitler turned around the German economy and rebuilt Germany after WWI.
It isn't that he didn't do good. It's that he did the most evil thing in centuries.

No. You just aren't thinking clearly. Right up until Hitler invaded a neighboring country, the whole world viewed him as a respectable person. He was Time's man of the year for turning around the German economy.
It doesn't matter what he did that was good, however, what he did that was evil will always cause him to be reviled.
If a millionaire gave most of his fortune to help the poor, that doesn't make up for killing his wife.
