It was a hyperbol statement meant to convey how easily lying is to that crowd.
As to making stuff up and sense of the preverse, I have written several short stories that you would probably enjoy. Too bad we don't have private messages here because I prefer to keep my identity private and my writing has my name on it as it is copyrighted.
